PLEASE REMEMBER
If you are volunteering at the school (room parents, classroom parties, library, FUN RUN, etc) your CORI needs to be completed prior to your coming to the school. Please download and fill out the form and return it in person to the main office at Sargent. CORIs need to updated every 3 years!
Huge thanks to our amazing Bulletin Board Committee for putting together this beautiful welcome back display! We truly appreciate this very small but mighty team of creative parents.
On that note, are you interested in lending them a hand this year? The Bulletin Board Committee is looking for volunteers to help update the bulletin boards in the front entrance to the school a few times a year. Creativity welcomed! Please email SargentPTOPres@gmail.com if you are interested in becoming a member of this committee!
Calling all gardeners, plant and flower enthusiasts, or anyone looking to lend a hand and make a difference at Sargent School while enjoying some time in the great outdoors!
The Sargent PTO Beautification Committee is looking for volunteers to help with seasonal plantings and occasional cleanup on the school grounds. We strive to make the most of our school's gorgeous setting and refresh planters and flower beds with festive touches throughout the year. We will hold a fall cleanup event in October and a spring cleanup event in April or May.
No expertise required! Please consider giving your time to enhance our beautiful school and grow the Sargent community!
Please contact Dominique Jablonski (dominique.l.jablonski@gmail.com) if you are interested in joining.
Library Volunteers
📚 Welcome Ms. Debbie DiFruscio — Our New Sargent Librarian!
We’re excited to welcome Ms. Debbie DiFruscio as Sargent’s new librarian! Ms. DiFruscio brings great energy and a passion for fostering a love of reading—and she’s looking to build a team of amazing parent volunteers to help make the library run smoothly and stay vibrant all year long.
This year, we have two meaningful ways you can get involved in the library:
We need volunteers to help with shelving books each day. It’s a great way to stay connected to the school and support our students' reading journey.
📅 Ms. DiFruscio will manage the schedule and coordinate directly with shelving volunteers.
Every Friday from 12:15–1:15 PM (starting next Friday, 9/19), we’ll tackle special library projects—everything from organizing materials to sprucing up displays.
📅 The PTO will manage the sign-ups for these sessions via link below.
