Good Morning Sargent Community!

It officially feels a bit like fall!  We hope all students and families are getting back into the swing of things with the new school year.  This Tuesday evening (9/17) is Sargent Open House for all grades.  Please view the schedule below:

Grade 1 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Grade 2 6:15 - 6:45 pm
Grade 4 6:45 - 7:15 pm
Grade 3 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Grade 5 7:00 - 7:30 pm

The PTO wants to send a BIG thank you to the MacKenzie family, who graciously donated landscaping services to weed and clean our Sargent mulch beds, and to trim some trees.  This is not the first time the Mackenzies have done this for us, and we are deeply appreciative.  Sargent really is a special community of very generous and thoughtful people, and it does not go unnoticed!

Additional thanks is due to those who scooped slush at the Farmers Market of NA yesterday.  We know the market appreciates our help, and we earned close to $400 selling slush and water!  Thanks to all who showed up!

We plan to keep the directory updated periodically throughout the school year.
For this initial round of submissions, please complete the form by Friday 9/27/2019.  Thank you!

Library Wish List
Our wonderful librarian, Mrs. Courtney Ahearn, has put together a wish list of items that the Sargent Library could really use!  If you wish to purchase an item for our library, please click here for the list!

Sargent Lost and Found
Please remember to check Sargent's Lost and Found, which is located just outside of our cafeteria. We make every attempt to get items in the Lost and Found back to their owners, but anything that has been there more than 3 weeks will be donated!

Understanding Our Differences
UOD reinforces our RAISE values, increases tolerance, reduces bullying and fosters respect, acceptance and compassion for people of all abilities. The curriculum covers autism, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and chronic medical conditions such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy. Detailed information on each unit will be sent to parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students prior to the day of the event and is also available on the UOD website.

The UOD program is presented by parent volunteers, and volunteers are needed at all North Andover schools! This is an excellent opportunity to share time in the classroom with your own child or to get to know other parents and students, and it encourages friendship and empathy for people with disabilities in our community. You can volunteer at ANY school in town- it does not have to be the school your child attends! Questions and additional information regarding volunteering for UOD can be directed to UODofNA@gmail.com. No experience with disabilities is necessary! All training takes place online and can be completed in under twenty minutes. Thank you so much for your support of this exciting program!

Drop-off boxes will be located in the art room and outside the cafeteria for your child to deposit the markers. Thank you in advance for participating!
