Ongoing Free Money Programs:

Bay State Textile Bin

Are you in the process of a closet clean out?  There is a white Bay State Textile bin located in the Sargent parking lot to collect household items that may otherwise be discarded, lugged to another bin, or put out on the curb. Please consider donating your items into this bin!  The contributions are weighed and Bay State Textiles sends a rebate check monthly to the school based on the weight of the donation.  Help support our school while also cleaning house! Click here for more information on Bay State Textiles.  Their flyer for North Andover schools can be found here.

North Andover Schools Enrichment Council

NORTH ANDOVER SCHOOLS ENRICHMENT COUNCIL is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Founded in 1986, their mission is to support, strengthen and enrich the North Andover school curriculum by providing in-school cultural and educational programs in the Sciences and Humanities.  North Andover Schools Enrichment Council (NASEC) is supported by North Andover PTOs, grants, and generous private donations.  It is comprised of representatives from each of the five elementary schools and the middle school.  To find out more information about NASEC, visit their website or check them out on Facebook too!

Understanding Our Differences

UOD reinforces our RAISE values, increases tolerance, reduces bullying and fosters respect, acceptance and compassion for people of all abilities.  The curriculum covers autism, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and chronic medical conditions such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, and epilepsy.  Detailed information on each unit will be sent to parents of 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students prior to the day of the event and is also available on the UOD website.

The UOD program is presented by parent volunteers, and volunteers are needed at all North Andover schools! This is an excellent opportunity to share time in the classroom with your own child or to get to know other parents and students, and it encourages friendship and empathy for people with disabilities in our community.   You can volunteer at ANY school in town- it does not have to be the school your child attends!  Questions and additional information regarding volunteering for UOD can be directed to UODofNA@gmail.com.  No experience with disabilities is necessary! All training takes place online and can be completed in under twenty minutes.  For more information on Understanding Our Differences, please click hereThank you so much for your support of this exciting program!
