Presidents’ Message

Hello Sargent Families,

Without such amazing involved parents, and supportive teachers, our school wouldn't be what it is.  As we finish up another year, we would like to say thank you to all of you who have helped throughout the year - from classrooms, book fairs, library, socials, to everything in between!

Through your generosity of time and financial support this year, we were able to:

We recognize that we have an amazing community of family support, and would not be able to do half of what we do without you. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and we are happy that you are part of ours!

We are ecstatic for Dr. Jennifer Price to start as Superintendent of North Andover Public Schools on July 1st.  We hope to see you at our Sno Cone Meet and Greet on Wed 7/29 from 6-7:30pm at Sargent to welcome her.  If you can’t make it there will be other times throughout the summer to talk to her.  Click here for her summer calendar.  Here is the survey she would like everyone to take to help her better shape her focus for improving our schools.

Have a fun and safe summer.

With our sincerest thanks,

Kristi and Chris

Sargent Garden Help Needed for the Summer

We're using VolunteerSpot to help us organize the watering and weeding of Sargent's garden this summer. While we don't need volunteers every day of the entire summer, we want to give as many Sargent families as possible the opportunity to share the joy of watching our Three Sisters (corn, beans, and pumpkins) grow. Please feel free to sign up for as many days as you can.  If you can only do one shift, we appreciate that too!

On each day for which you sign up, you'll head over to the garden (at whatever time works best for you), water the corn, beans, pumpkins, carrots, and sunflowers -- and then weed the rest. Rain simply means you get the day off. Contact Jen Agosti at jen@jraconsultingltd.com with any questions. Thanks for taking the time to help!!

Please click here to sign up for summer slots.

Win Gift Certificate to The Maker Mill

We want feedback from your kids!!  As the school year comes to a close, we hope that each of your elementary and middle school students enjoyed the various NASEC shows they attended.  We would love to hear what their favorite show was and why… in their own words.  Was it the recent Whalemobile that visited 1st graders?  Was it The Earth Balloon at NAMS?  Was it the Tanglewood Marionettes?  Or Maybe a Museum of Science or Zoo New England show?  What about Robert Frost?  Let them decide.  Share their feedback and be entered to win a Gift Certificate to The Maker Mill in North Andover.  Simply visit North Andover Schools Enrichment Council on Facebook, “like” us, share the post with your North Andover FB friends and then add your child’s feedback by adding a “comment”.  The contest is open through the last day of school.  NASEC will choose a winner at random on June 24 and announce the winner on Facebook.  To enter, use the link above or visit www.facebook.com/pages/North-Andover-Schools-Enrichment-Council-NASEC/144754002230143.  NASEC is a volunteer-run, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.  Our mission is to support, strengthen and enrich the North Andover school curriculum for elementary and middle school students by providing in-school cultural and educational programs in the Sciences and Humanities.  To learn more about The Mr Mill, visit them at www.themakermill.com.
